The chassis is equipped to a very high level of specification including SZC multi adjustable closed cartridge forks. These forks offer a performance you would think would be impossible on a motorcycle of this price, but they have cracked it. Its a smooth ride but a few clicks on the rebound and compression adjusters change the performance entirely into a ride that is firm and secure and which handles speed and corners with ease. The rear shock is also produced by SZC who happen to be one of China's largest manufacturer of after market parts. They take some beating. Very powerful brakes , electric start , billet hubs as well as top and bottom yokes. Multi info dash . 5 LED front light makes it possible to go as fast at night as during the day.

- Fully synthetic 10W/40 Motorcycle oil ,Especially suitable for wet clutches, High wear resistance, API SN Plus (Euro 5 compatible), JASO MA2 - not car oil as this contains friction inhibitors and will cause the clutch to slip. Fully synthetic
- Oil change intervals Change the gear oil - Recommended every 2000-3000 miles. 2000 miles for aggressive off road riding and 3000 miles for easier trail riding
- Clean gauze filter with every oil change
- Paper Filter change intervals: with every oil change
- Valve check interval 5000 miles

*I brought the 2021 model used with 300 miles on it .. Had it for 3 months now put 500 miles on it .no problems what so ever. changed the rear sprocket from 52 teeth to 48. Seems like the sweet spot for this bike. Adjusted the suspension to my liking. Rides like a dream now. Power is great climbs any hill you throw at it . Took a top speed run with it once. Did a 100 mph easy still had more Only one thing I don't like is the seat a little hard after about 20 miles. The display is great tach,gear indicator gas gauge,speed in mph. Will be buying a fse 250e for my play bike,to save the 450r for light trails and street,because I like this bike so much. I was a actually thing about buying a kawasaki klx 300 for more money than this,until I test drove one and it sucked. The kawasaki had half the horsepower and was way to far restricted. It would cost you thousands of dollars to upgrade to even start to compare to this bike,and not to mention it weights 304 lbs for a 300.
